This truth is beautifully exemplified in the inspiring journeys of three remarkable individuals, my personal friends and coursemates — Dr. Tosin Adeyemi, Dr. Pauline Nwagala, and Dr. Bukky Afolabi — who have achieved the pinnacle of academic excellence by earning their PhDs in Microbiology from the prestigious Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, on Friday, 31st January 2025.


The motto of Olabisi Onabanjo University — 'Excellentia Humana et Patriae Opus, which translates to 'The Flowering of Human Abilities and Service to the Fatherland.' The flowering of human excellence —perfectly encapsulates the essence of their success.
