The Young Person Who Is Tired Of Being Broke

@The Young Person Who Is Tired Of Being Broke

There is a kind of tiredness that sleep cannot cure. It is the tiredness of a young person who has dreams but no money to pursue them; qualifications but no opportunity to demonstrate them; ideas but no capital to start; energy but no platform to deploy it. It is the frustration of watching others move forward while life seems to have put your own journey on pause. Being broke can be painful. We must not romanticise it. Bills must be paid, families need support, and dreams require resources. Yet, being broke is a condition, not an identity. Your bank balance may describe your present, but it must never define your worth.

Young person, do not allow financial frustration to push you into desperation. Do not exchange your future for quick money, and do not allow the glitter of another person's success to make you despise the small beginnings of your own journey. Social media often displays the harvest without showing the years of planting. Do not compete with somebody else's highlight reel using your own behind-the-scenes. Learn. Build. Serve. Network. Acquire skills. Start where you are, with what you have, and keep improving your capacity to create value.

You may be broke today, but you must never become empty of vision. You may have little money, but never have little ambition. You may start small, but never think small. If you cannot find an opportunity, increase your capacity. If nobody is opening a door, develop something valuable enough to make people look for you. Your beginning may be humble, but your potential is not. Every great enterprise, career and achievement was once a small idea struggling to find its first opportunity.

The world does not owe us an easy beginning, but we owe ourselves the courage to keep becoming. Do not merely pray for money; prepare yourself to handle opportunity when money comes. Do not chase wealth alone; become valuable enough to create it. Your breakthrough may not begin with money. It may begin with a skill, an idea, a relationship, a decision—or simply the courage to start again. Your present financial condition is a chapter, not the entire story.

So, if you are tired of being broke, do not give up—get up! Keep learning. Keep building. Keep believing. Keep moving. You are not your bank balance. You are not your present circumstances. You are the potential of everything you are still capable of becoming. One day, you will look back at this season and realise that the days you thought were breaking you were actually building you. Your pocket may be empty today, but let your hands be busy, your mind be fertile, your character be strong and your vision be alive. This is not the end of your story; it is only the beginning of the climb.
